eMax consists of a series of sensors connected to a Data Acquisition Unit (DAU). The data from the sensors are collected by the DAU, stored in a sophisticated SQL database and then retransmitted via a GSM modem to the CODEL central server where it is organised and stored. The data can be viewed locally on the DAU or anywhere that has Internet access via a PC, laptop, tablet or smart phone.
- Continuous boiler monitoring via real-time panel display
- Histogram of daily and monthly steam and energy input performance
- Diagnostic analysis of key boiler operating parameters
- Remote data access by PC or tablet via Internet connectivity
Boiler performance is not a constant. It varies with operating conditions, even a small reduction in performance can result in energy losses of many thousands of pounds per annum; this warrants a careful, on going check of boiler performance. Most process boilers operate automatically without supervision and with very limited sensor information, making detailed analysis of performance very difficult. This is where the eMax system can fill that knowledge gap.
